Does a difference mean that amount is owed?

A comparison identifies differences to review. It does not establish an entitlement, a recovered amount, or a payment received. Approval, customer responsibility, and recorded payment are separate facts.

Does GuideCoat send messages for me?

Can I ask whether an insurer paid for an operation on a prior job?

That cross-job capability is in development. GuideCoat records estimates, payments, and write-offs today; the planned workflow will look for comparable jobs and their supporting records. A payment on a job does not by itself show which operation was paid. Current File AI questions use the records available in an individual repair file.
